Far Niente Vineyard Winery

California wine, Napa Valley

About Far Niente Wines

Since their first vintage of Chardonnay in 1979 and the introduction of Cabernet Sauvignon in 1982, Far Niente has held true to its philosophy of producing estate wines of luxury and elegance with a consistent house style.

While many wineries make wine at several different quality levels, Far Niente produces one Chardonnay and one Cabernet Sauvignon of the highest quality possible from their estate vineyards; if the wine doesn’t meet expectations, it doesn’t make the final blend.

they attribute their twenty-plus years of resounding success as a highly regarded Napa Valley winery to the pursuit of these exacting standards and commitment to quality without compromise. Fine Wine Merchant, The Saratoga Wine Exchange, offers Far Niente Wine to buy online.

Far Niente Winery 2001 Cabernet Sauvignon Oakville, Napa Valley

Aromas of huckleberry, dark cocoa and chocolate are complemented by a touch of vanillan in the nose. Upon entry, this Cabernet is soft and lush, with a dense mid palate. Flavors of boysenberry and black fruits are supported by tannins that are chewy, yet smooth and lingering. There is a very long finish to this wine.
