The 2013 Falanghina del Sannio is one of the easiest wines in the Feudi di San Gregorio portfolio of whites. It is a great choice for appetizers or finger foods. The bouquet is fresh and informal with pretty layers of citrus, white peach and spring flower. Distant aromas of chopped herb or sweet basil appear at the back. The mouthfeel is streamlined and tight.

For over three thousand years now, Campania has been one of Europe's most important and enduring wine regions. Since those times, a vast amount of Italian land has remained primarily for vine cultivation, and thousands of wineries can be found throughout the entire length and breadth of this beautiful country, drenched in Mediterranean sunshine and benefiting from the excellent fertile soils found there. Italy remains very much a 'land of wines', and one could not imagine this country, its landscape and culture, without it.
