About Prejean Winery and Vineyard

Since 1986, the Prejean family has been producers of award winning estate grown Merlot, Chardonnay, Riesling, Gewurztraminer, Marechal Foch, Cayuga White and Vignoles wines.

The winery, surrounded by 38 acres of vineyards, overlooks beautiful Seneca Lake, the deepest of the Finger Lakes. The depth is significant because the lake remains a fairly constant temperature, the consequence of which is that the lake doesn't freeze. This gives us an earlier spring, a later fall and riper grapes.

We oversee every step of the wine making process including the most important, grape growing. The winery itself has 25,000 gallons in tank and barrel capacity and with a new addition built in 1997, we have room to grow.

We invite you to visit the winery any time of the year and taste our award winning wines. Come for one of our events or just enjoy a bottle of Riesling with friends on our deck and take in the view.
