In an idyllic conner of Napa Valley, miles from the bustle of Highway 29, the hillside vines of Seavey Winery rise several hundred feet above Conn Creek and Lake Hennessy.
Surrounded by hundreds of acres of wild lands, these vineyards were one of the first hillside sites of Napa Valley selected for grapes over 130 years ago.
Seavey Winery is one of the few wineries that grow all their own grapes, and processes its wines 100% on site. The wines of Seavey Winery embody this terroir, and this terrior embodies our wines.
Seavey Winery Cabernet Sauvignon
The Cabernet Sauvignon has an opaque ruby/purple color, a highly extracted bouquet or ripe black berry fruits, bitter chocolate, coffee and plum aromas; dense, layered and full bodied with exceptional concentration, the wine's silky yet powerful tannins should allow it to age well for 20 years.
Seavey Winery Merlot
Complex, with its integration of ripe cherry, berry and plum flavors and pretty toasty, smoky oak, finishing in a long, rich aftertaste.
Seavey Winery Chardonnay
The Chardonnay has fresh, honeyed citrus and ripe pear/pineapple-scented aromas, well-integrated oak, freshness and a good balance of sugars and acidity with lots of extract and richness. Delicious now, it should drink well for three to four years.
Seavey Winery Caravina
Ripe and intense, with vivid flavors of blueberry pie, blackberry and chocolate. Earthy tannins, cedary oak and herbal notes fold into a firm, concentrated finish. Best from 2004 through 2009.
