About Staglin Family Vineyard and Winery
Staglin Family Winery winemaking is accomplished to create wines of intense fruit character, with soft, supple tannins that allow the wine to be drunk upon release, but have the capacity to age and become extremely complex over time. Our wines have a long finish, and deep color, characteristic of the grapes from our vineyard.
Staglin Family Winery Cabernet Sauvignon
A big step up in quality for Staglin, with tiers of dense, chewy, richly flavored currant, earth, blackberry, cherry, mineral and mocha. Finishes with a long, intense, plush aftertaste. Shows some heat and rough tannins and oak, but nothing short-term cellaring won't resolve. Best from 2005 through 2015.
