Inky ruby. A seductive bouquet offers scents of dark berry preserves, candied cherry, pipe tobacco, vanilla and Indian spices. Fleshy and velvety in texture, with deep black and blue fruit flavors and soft tannins. Plenty concentrated, and I'm sure that it will reward another seven to ten years of cellaring, but this is awfully alluring right now.
