The 2013 Tamjanika is unoaked and comes in at 12.5% alcohol. This Muscat-like white, with a tinge of herbaceousness, is lovely if you like high-personality whites. It has respectable body for the level, a nice finish and all those enticing aromatics. It is a very nice value. Drink it relatively young (noting that the winery actually holds these back a year or so before release), but it certainly has the wherewithal to drink well for a few years--perhaps better than anticipated. I do prefer wines like this when they are young and exuberant, though. There were 14,000 bottles produced.
