Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery 2001 Indian Wells Chardonnay

The 2001 Indian Wells Chardonnay displays aromas of sweet lemon, lime, baked apple and hints of mineral. The structure of the wine is elegant and well balanced with flavors of pear, citrus and toasty oak. Silky texture, rich flavor and long aftertaste make this wine a great food accompaniment.

Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery 2001 Cold Creek Chardonnay

The 2001 Cold Creek Chardonnay displays the classic ripe apple and pear aroma characteristics and rich fruit flavor that have distinguished this vineyard for over 25 years. Secondary aromas of spice, citrus, mineral and toasted hazelnuts are also exhibited. The wine has a viscous mouth feel, a well-defined structure, and a long silky finish. This wine is delicious now, but will continue to develop additional complexity and richness for the next 10 years.

Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery 2001 Chardonnay Canoe Ridge Vineyard

The warm growing conditions of the 2001 vintage resulted in aromatic and richly flavored Chardonnay at Canoe Ridge Vineyard. The wine shows dominant aromas of pear, apple and toasty oak accented with hints of butterscotch, sweet lime, vanilla and baking spice. The mouth feel is rich and the finish is long and silky.

Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery 2000 Sauvignon Blanc, Horse Heaven Vineyard

This is another great vintage for the Horse Heaven Vineyard. The forward aromas are focused on lime, grapefruit zest and pear. Barrel fermentation adds a subtle spicy oak note and rounds out the texture of the rich wine. The bright acidity of this cool vintage gives the wine an appealing crispness and long fresh aftertaste.

Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery 2000 Cabernet Sauvignon Cold Creek Vineyard

Aromas of cedar and vanilla lead to flavors of deep black cherry, plum, blackberry and spice. This is a concentrated, dense Cabernet with a lingering toasty finish. Powerful and balanced, this Cab has great ageability.

Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery 2000 Cabernet Sauvignon Canoe Ridge Estate

Aromas of ripe black cherry and blackberry are accented by hints of leather and cedar. On the palate this Cabernet delivers cherry and chocolate flavors with round, soft tannins.
