California Wine, Napa Valley

About David Arthur Winery David Arthur Vineyard Wine

The quality of David Arthur Winery wines today are the product of a delicate combination of weather, quality viticultural management practices, skilled wine making, and soil. As for the weather, Mother Nature always manages to surprise us. David Arthur Winery skills at viticultural management and wine making are constantly scrutinized and refined. As for soil, as many of you know, at David Arthur Vineyards, we are surrounded on all sides by wineries such as Long Vineyards (no relation), Chappellet Vineyards, Dalla Valle Vineyards, Harrison, Colgin and Bryant. David Arthur Winery is located on the hillsides above the famous Rutherford Bench, a viticultural area known for producing some of the finest wines in the country if not the world.

David Arthur Winery 2001 Cabernet

From high above the Rutherford Bench comes this highly allocated, highly regarded Cabernet. Smooth, rich, creamy and long finishing with cedar, black cherry, ripe currant and anise.

David Arthur Winery 2001 Meritaggio

Full-blown Bordeaux style with a twist of Sangiovese. Deep, rich, impressive purity and length. Complex notes of black fruits, vanillin, earth, truffles and cocoa.
