100% blue agave, aged in a single barrel as opposed to the normal process of blending barrels. Most Reposado are aged for 8mo, this guy got a full 10. On the nose you get unmistakable brown sugar, molasses and vanilla from the extra barrel aging. Banana and that bramble that I aways get with tequila. When you sip it you get a lot of those same notes. It starts out sweet, one of the sweeter tequilas I have ever tried. That was the 1-note early on. But after being open, it changes mid-palate and finishes with some great pepper and toasty jalapeno. I love sipping this, but if you enjoy margherita’s, this would be excellent. Sweet with a bit of spice. "Me and Julio Don by the schoolyard" 85.4 proof, barrel # L2079ZR025, 240 bottles produced.
