Sparkling Wine, Provence

About Luc Belaire Wine

Each bottle of BELAIRE is born in southeastern France's region of Provence-Alpes-Cöte d'Azur, the stunningly beautiful home of the famed coastal cities of Marseilles, Nice, Cannes, St. Tropez, Antibe, Grasse, Toulon - and the world's finest Rosé wines.

Roughly 150 miles wide from the Cote d'Azur (French Riviera), Monaco, and French Alps along the Italian border to the east to the Rhone River valley to the west and Mediterranean to the south, this picturesque setting provides a lush backdrop for the crafting of the wines that have made the region famous.

Provence-Alpes-Cöte d'Azur is known for its intensely blue skies, warm summers, plentiful winds, and abundant sunshine: up to 2900 hours per year. Its classic Mediterranean climate brings mild winters and little rainfall.

Provence-Alpes-Cöte d'Azur is also the home of luxury: Monte Carlo and the Monaco Grand Prix, the Cannes Film Festival, the yachts at harbor in Saint-Tropez, Nice's famed pebble beaches - all call Provence home.

Here, amid sun-drenched vineyards cooled by the Le Mistral sea winds, against the stunning backdrop of the snow-capped French Alps, wines have been made for more than 2,500 years. This rich heritage of wine craft and perfect terroir for cultivating the grapes of the Rosé blend can be experienced in each glass of BELAIRE.

Champagne has always been a rap staple. For years Cristal was the brand of choice, being name dropped from every corner of the rap world. In 2006, the question, "Do you think your brand is hurt by its association with the 'bling lifestyle'?" was asked of Frédéric Rouzaud, managing director for Cristal. His response, "That's a good question, but what can we do? We can't forbid people from buying it." Not a good move. The entire hip hop world turned against it, the charge being lead by Jay Z, the former [unofficial] Cristal spokesman in the rap world.

Waka Flocka Flame is sippin' Moscato, Rick Ross (AKA Ricky Rose) is forever asking for another bottle of that Rose (commonly touting Luc Belaire Rare Rose), and Drake has been known to mention everything from Chardonnay to Luc Belaire Rare Rose Santa Margherita by the liter. Wine has exploded in the hip hop world, and with it comes quite a significant increase in sales.
