The bouquet features smells of new car leather, breakfast cereal, cornmeal, pepper and hemp. Amber color. Aromas and flavors of milky way candy bar, raspberry syrup, walnut and black pepper, and kola nut with a velvety, crisp, bone-dry medium-to-full body and a tingling, intricate, medium-long finish with accents of milk chocolate and toasted hazelnut, green tea, honey nut granola, tobacco, and beef demi glaze. Waves of vanilla and chocolate cream, this Bourbon is sure to be a crowd pleaser.

This stately whiskey pours a lovely toffee hue and shows mouthwatering aromas of baked honey, buttered cornbread, oiled leather, and toasted vanilla bean. The palate is delicious and complex beginning with barrel-aged sweetness and finishing with gentle rye spice. (Tried & True) - 2022 ULTIMATE SPIRITS CHALLENGE

One of the few remaining age-stated bourbons. Henry McKenna's color is beautiful. You can hold it up in sunset light and just enjoy the russet and amber hues reflecting. Sweetness, savory, and floral fragrances followed by brown sugar, fresh-baked rye bread, and malt. Caramel and vanilla, with roasted pine nuts and spice, and a slight hint of strawberry lead to a long and savory finish. Balance is the point of this sipper. - Summer 2016

This high proof, Bottled-in-Bond Bourbon was named for Henry McKenna, the Irish immigrant who adapted his family's whiskey recipe to work with the grains he found in Kentucky. Henry McKenna is one of the longest aged Bottled-in-Bond whiskeys available today, resting in the barrel through 40 Kentucky seasons. Critics agree that this is perfectly balanced Bourbon.

Country: United States

For three hundred years now, the United States has been leading the New World in wine production, both in regards to quantity and quality. Wine is actually produced in all fifty states across the country, with California leading the way by an enormous margin. Indeed, as much as eighty-nine percent of all wines to come out of the United States are produced in California, where the fertile soils and sloping mountain sides, coupled with the long, hot summers provide ideal conditions for producing high quality, European style red, white and rosé wines. With over a million acres of the country under vine, the United States sits comfortably as the fourth largest wine producer in the world, where imported grape varietals from all over the Old World are processed using a successful blend of traditional and contemporary techniques.

Probably between this and EC Barrel Proof as my personal favorite, love the Heaven Hill stuff. This can vary between bottles but, it's a solid pour. Finally seeing it locally.

Nice bourbon but nothing really stands out. Great, well balanced, straight forward bourbon flavors here.
