There are plenty of ripe black plum and fig aromas, with strong components of earth and leather. Despite all the ripeness here, the wine is still balanced. Winemaker Jérôme Flous says: ‘It is not far from 2018, but the acidity is much more interesting’. This 2.6ha vineyard is a monopole of the domaine. Flous remarked that it is ‘a dry terroir in a dry vintage; south-facing, and very hot.’
