Tomintoul Scotch Single Malt Cigar Malt 750ml

Yogurt-covered raisins, bacon-wrapped melon, and banana pudding highlight a subtle and nuanced nose. A silky palate shows vanilla bean ice cream, cinnamon Life cereal, and peppery smoke; it is quite understated and refined. With water, jelly donught gets added to the mix. The finish is mouth-coating with ash and chocolate. Never aggressive, this is well-constructed with plenty of complexity. Slightly smoky, with jammy fruit flavors on the finish. - Summer 2022

Tomintoul Cigar Malt is a rich, complex and robust Malt whisky specially created by our Master Distiller, Robert Fleming. Robert Fleming personally selected an intricate combination of Tomintoul single malts from specially selected vintages, which he has carefully balanced with some rare peated Tomintoul single malt. Each of these individual single malts has been either matured fully or finished in hand-selected Oloroso sherry butts, sourced from the partner bodegas in Andalucia, Spain. The Tomintoul Cigar Malt is also referred to as Tomintoul Cigar Malt Parejo, because it has been created to be the perfect ‘Parejo’ (Spanish for “partner”) to the world’s finest cigars. The rich and sweet oloroso sherry notes, creamy malt profile and gentle peat smoke make this single malt the perfect accompaniment to savour alongside your favourite cigar or just to appreciate and enjoy by itself. NOSE: BOLD AND PRONOUNCED WITH AROMAS OF DRIED FRUITS, SWEET SPICES, PECAN PIE AND SUBTLE PEAT SMOKE. PALATE: SWEET AND RICH WITH LAYERS OF CHOCOLATE RAISINS, BUTTER TOFFEES AND BRAMBLES MINGLED WITH BLACK PEPPER AND SMOKY WOODY SPICES. FINISH: WARMING AND LONG WITH NOTES OF MOCHA, MAPLE SYRUP AND TOASTED OAK LINGERING ON THE TONGUE.
