91-93 The 2021 Clos Vougeot Grand Cru (from Grand Maupertuis) is bright, piercing and crystalline. This is a very pretty wine, but it needs to be appreciated on its own terms. I don’t see a ton of Clos Vougeot character; rather, the vintage style speaks most clearly. Readers will find a tonic, energetic Burgundy.
