Long-term Pre-arrival Items
Long Term Pre-arrival Definition: Ordering wine directly through us from our supplier partners in Europe in advance of the item’s physical arrival in the US.
Long Term Pre-arrival sales ensure you’re getting the best possible price and that you have also secured the product before it hits the normal retail supply chain. The lead time for Pre-arrival goods is generally 4–8 months, sometimes longer based on supply chain and the logistics of transporting goods overseas. The expectation, from our team, is to communicate to the customer the location of their purchase every step of the way.
This product is offered as a full case purchase option, minimum order quantities may be applicable. When available, multiple case options will be presented. If you are purchasing a Pre-Arrival item you must order a solid case.

95-97 The 2021 Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru, which is one of the first picked to capture the acidity, comprises just one barrel this year (one year old). It has a very intense bouquet, quite mineral-driven with limestone and sea spray scents, just a subtle reduction on the background. The palate has exquisite balance, fresh on the entry, rather deep with plenty of substance and slightly pithy towards the finish. There is a lot in this Bâtard-Montrachet, and it has impressive persistence. This is one of the standouts from the Grand Cru in this traumatic season – some achievement.
Of all the white wine grape varietals, surely the one that has spread the furthest and is most widely appreciated is Chardonnay. This green-skinned grape is now grown all over the Old and New Worlds, from New Zealand to the Americas, from England to Chile, and is one of the first varietals people think of when considering white wine grapes. Perhaps this is because of its huge popularity, which reached a peak in the 1990s, thanks to new technologies combining with traditional methods to bring the very best features out of the Chardonnay grape and allow its unique qualities to shine through. Most fine Chardonnay wines use a process known as malolactic fermentation, wherein the malic acids in the grape juice are converted to lactic acids, allowing a creamier, buttery nature to come forward in the wine. No grape varietal is better suited to this process than Chardonnay, which manages to balance these silky, creamy notes with fresh white fruit flavors beautifully.

The beautifully and unforgettable French region of Cote De Beaune has been revered throughout the centuries, and recognized as one of the key producer's of the world's finest white wines. The region is highly respected as an excellent producer of Chardonnay wines, and the Chardonnay grapes which grow there, on the southern slopes of the Cote d'Or, are packed full of the unique and powerful characteristics of this very special terroir. Interestingly, Cote De Beaune produces more red wine than white wine, despite its white wines being so famous. The red wines of Cote De Beaune are mainly made from Pinot Noir, but are relatively very light and fruity in their character, perfect for sipping on a warm, sunny day alongside a wide range of foods.

93-95 Firm reduction. The denser and more powerful broad-shouldered flavors possess almost painful intensity while retaining excellent delineation on the moderately austere, harmonious and compact finale that exhibits outstanding length. This is packed with upside development potential and is a wine that's going to need at least 6 to 8 years of patience and should amply reward 12 to 15.
Once again impenetrable reduction renders the nose unreadable. More interesting are the gorgeously textured, fresh and tension-filled flavors that aren’t…
