Cara Sur Moscatel Tinto 2022 750ml

The 2022 Moscatel Tinto fermented in concrete eggs with some 10% to 15% full clusters that were foot trodden and then some skins were removed to have a higher ratio of juice to skin to achieve an elegant wine with more finesse, moderate alcohol (13%) and some herbal and minty aromas and hints of flowers, delicate and aromatic. The wine has a lighter color than in previous years—they used less skins and shorter macerations—and the profile has changed and the palate is also lighter. Delicious. 4,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in October 2022.
