90-92 A much more reserved and earthier nose grudgingly displays notes of dark currant, leather, underbrush and a hint of the sauvage. There is fine richness and excellent volume to the concentrated, intense and serious medium-bodied flavors that possess fine punch and focused power on the mouth coating and persistent finish. While this is just as powerful as the Baudes it’s not quite as firm and should be approachable a few years earlier if desired.
