Originally established by Pip and Harry Goring with Dermot Sugrue as winemaker, Wiston is now under the custodianship of the next Goring family generation, son Rick and his wife Kirsty, with winemaking in the hands of Sugrue’s former assistant Marcus Rayner-Ward. ‘Wiston’s Brut NV has always been a great wine, but this iteration is one of the best I’ve tasted,’ says Susie Barrie MW.
