Long-term Pre-arrival Items
Long Term Pre-arrival Definition: Ordering wine directly through us from our supplier partners in Europe in advance of the item’s physical arrival in the US.
Long Term Pre-arrival sales ensure you’re getting the best possible price and that you have also secured the product before it hits the normal retail supply chain. The lead time for Pre-arrival goods is generally 4–8 months, sometimes longer based on supply chain and the logistics of transporting goods overseas. The expectation, from our team, is to communicate to the customer the location of their purchase every step of the way.
This product is offered as a full case purchase option, minimum order quantities may be applicable. When available, multiple case options will be presented. If you are purchasing a Pre-Arrival item you must order a solid case.
Rapid Ship
Items listed as "rapid ship" are in stock and available for immediate pickup or shipment. Those that do not have the "rapid ship" icon are housed with our supplier and must be transferred to our warehouse before they can be picked up or shipped. This requires 4-6 business days but usually occurs sooner. Some products will list both options of availability as there will be a certain number in stock, with the option to order additional bottles to be transferred from the supplier.

93-95 The 2014 Echézeaux Grand Cru du Dessus, which was completely destemmed, has a lovely bouquet, very harmonious and perhaps showing more complexity than the Chapelle-Chambertin at the moment. The mineralité really comes through here. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin, vibrant and vivacious with perfectly judged acidity. This is a really quite beautiful Echézeaux for long term aging (if you can resist temptation).

92-95 Good dark red; not as lucid as the Chapelle. The nose shows a strong musky, meaty reduction, with aromas of dark raspberry, violet and mocha emerging with some aeration. Sweet, smooth, plush and fine-grained, offering impressive volume without any undue weight. Finishes suavely tannic, seamless and very long. Tremblay reiterated that she would wait until June or July to bottle her top 2014s. Superb potential here.

92-95 Firm reduction dominates the nose. Otherwise there is lovely verve and freshness to the incredibly rich and enveloping medium-bodied flavors that also completely coat the palate with sappy dry extract, all wrapped in a dusty, intense, tight and very seriously finish that delivers sneaky good length. This isn't quite as complex as the Chapelle, at least not yet, though it may very well match it in time. This too is seriously good.
