Tequila Cabal’s reposado combines tequilas ranging from 6–10 months in oak, in this case blended from two parts tequila aged in ex–Russel’s Reserve Bourbon barrels, one part ex–Russel’s Reserve Rye barrel, and one part ex–Old Elk Wheated Bourbon barrel. The results are inviting and cozy, with pronounced oak generously bolstering the blanco’s sweet fruits and spices.
