89-92 This is aromatically similar to the straight Meursault but with more obvious citrus elements. The mouthfeel of the middle weight flavors isn’t quite as dense but it is noticeably finer and more mineral-inflected as well before culminating in delicious, refined and almost delicate finale. This excellent effort could use better depth so be sure to give it at least a few years of bottle aging.

Of all the white wine grape varietals, surely the one that has spread the furthest and is most widely appreciated is Chardonnay.
