The 2024 Cabernet Sauvignon Areyna, sold as Casarena Estate in some markets, comes from Luján de Cuyo. Half the wine was aged for 3–4 months in old French barrels and the remainder stayed in concrete. It opens with notes of olives and light cassis, plus subtle spice and a soft bell-pepper tone. Dry, with well-polished tannins and a touch of bell pepper on the palate, the flavor holds steady. Very good for its price.
