The 2024 Godello El Zarzal comes from Ponferrada, Bierzo, and was aged eight months in used foudres. Pear, flowers and fennel emerge first, while the élevage plays a defining role in the profile. The palate is rich, with very good tension and freshness. Broad through the mid-palate, finishing with lingering apple notes and attractive concentration.

Winery Notes

Very light yellow straw colour. The nose is fresh and fragrant with notes of ripe white fruit, dry flowers and mineral notes. In the palate, it maintains its freshness and it is very pleasurable to drink thanks to well balanced acidity and alcohol.
