There is enough reduction present to push the underlying fruit to the background. By contrast there is lovely freshness to the delicious if quite virile medium weight plus flavors that possess both good power and punch, all wrapped in a moderately austere and impressively persistent finish. This should be at its best 12 to 15 years hence. (Burghound)
