Coche-Dury Bourgogne Aligote 2020 750ml

Aligoté, a lesser-known white grape variety originating from Burgundy, France, showcases a unique and refreshing profile in the world of wine. Often overshadowed by its more illustrious counterpart, Chardonnay, Aligoté offers a distinct expression of Burgundian terroir. Aligoté wines are prized for their crisp acidity, light body, and vibrant citrus flavors, often accompanied by subtle floral and mineral undertones. With its lively palate, Aligoté serves as a delightful aperitif and a versatile pairing partner for seafood, salads, and lighter fare. Though traditionally used in blends, Aligoté is gaining recognition as a varietal wine, particularly in Burgundy and other regions where it is cultivated. Its inherent charm and refreshing character continue to captivate wine enthusiasts seeking unique and expressive wines.
