Hiruzta Txakolin Getariako Txakolina Hondarrabi Zuri 2021
From the winery: In the glass you notice the presence of tiny carbonation bubbles typically associated with this type of refreshing Txakoli. Balanced and fresh in the mouth with well-integrated acidity. Bright and lively on the palate with hints of citrus and tropical fruits in the aftertaste with a long, aromatic finish.
La Crema Chardonnay Kelli Ann Vineyard 2018
From the winery: On the nose hints of lemon curd, fresh nectarine, and nutmeg followed by flavors of Meyer Lemon, white peach, and hints of crème brûlée on the palate. Overall the 2018 vintage has great concentration and an elegant finish.
Castellani Tenuta Di Ceppaiano Keith Haring Supertuscan IGT 2017
From the winery: On the nose: Complex, with multiple layers of primary fruity aromas of wild roses, cherries, mint, cassis and licorice. Secondary aromas of resin, oak, leather and toasted sweet coffee. Palate: Intriguing taste mixing sweet flavor of white chocolate, vanilla and cedar on a buttery bed of oak verticalized by a gentle acidity. Long finish. Wonderful Sangiovese Cabernet blend, Brunello style.
Ridge Three Valleys 2019
From the winery: Fresh raspberry and blueberry fruits, clay mineral, exotic oak spice. Rich entry with bramble fruit, chewy tannins, creamy/sweet oak, and a moderately long finish. 65% Zinfandel, 17% Petite Sirah, 14% Carignane, 4% Grenache. Despite a dry winter, late spring rains carried the vines to harvest. Reduced yields and a warm summer quickly ripened the crop. Long, slow fermentations finished sugar, while extracting significant tannin. Barreling down early gave this vintage more time in wood than any thus far. Appealing now, it will be most enjoyable over the next five years.
