Great Wines Under… $20?!
Who says you have to spend big to drink well? Some of our favorite wines cost less than $30, and yes—some even under $20! In this episode, Chris and Nick are sharing some of their everyday favorites that won’t empty your wallet. Whether you prefer red, white, or a little bit of both, we’ve got you covered.
De Wetshof Chardonnay Limestone Hill

Un-wooded with notes of grapefruit & nuts. Complex with a nuanced elegance, ending with a delicate ripeness. Limestone Hill never sees oak, and offers impeccably pure, refreshing apple, peach and lemon fruit, a lovely richness of texture, and a nutty, chalky, fruit-filled finish of imposing length.
Salcheto Vino Nobile Di Montepulciano

Rated 94 by Wine Enthusiast: (2020) The nose is defined by a delicate sweetness, as undertones of clove and orange peel bring nuance to leading aromas of vanilla and strawberry, followed by a crack of black pepper. On the palate, fruit leads the way, but a hint of that bitter, spicy element perseveres all the way through the warm, acidic finish.
Chateau Marjosse Bordeaux Rouge

Rated 94 by The Wine Independent: (2020) Medium garnet-purple in color, the 2020 Marjosse Rouge needs a little coaxing to reveal notes of cast-iron pan, crushed rocks, and dusty soil over a core of red plums, blackberry preserves, and mulberries, plus a hint of bay leaves. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is tightly knit with fine-grained tannins and bold freshness supporting the nuanced black and red fruits, finishing long and minerally.
