This impressive white wine from red wine specialist Charles van Canneyt at Domaine Hudelot-Noëllat dispels the myth that one can’t do both. The aromas begin with a hint of lemon peel and white flowers and then opens up to encompass quince, hazelnut, and spice. The beautiful freshness of the year balances out the impressive concentration of the wine to lead to a surprisingly long finish. 2021 is van Canneyt’s fifth vintage of this wine, whose vines were previously worked by Domaine Coche-Dury.
