Long Term Pre-arrival Definition: Ordering wine directly through us from our supplier partners in Europe in advance of the item’s physical arrival in the US.
Long Term Pre-arrival sales ensure you’re getting the best possible price and that you have also secured the product before it hits the normal retail supply chain. The lead time for Pre-arrival goods is generally 4–8 months, sometimes longer based on supply chain and the logistics of transporting goods overseas. The expectation, from our team, is to communicate to the customer the location of their purchase every step of the way.
This product is offered as a full case purchase option, minimum order quantities may be applicable. When available, multiple case options will be presented. If you are purchasing a Pre-Arrival item you must order a solid case.

Coming from Gualtallary, one of the top subregions in Uco Valley, this red starts with aromas of dried herbs, and peppercorn followed by pomegranate. It has a savory palate, where flavors of thyme and rosemary are followed by dark-chocolate shavings and prunes.
The purple Malbec variety grapes which now grow all over the Old and New Worlds had their origins in France, where they are one of the few grape varieties allowed to be used in the highly esteemed blended wines of Bordeaux. However, it is perhaps the New World Malbec wines which have attracted the most attention in recent years, as they thrive in hot southern climates in ways they cannot in their native country, where the damp conditions leave them highly vulnerable to rot. Malbec grapes are renowned for their high tannin content, resulting in full-bodied red wines packed with ripe, plummy flavors and held in their characteristically dark, garnet colored liquid. In many countries, Malbec is still used primarily as a varietal for blending, as it adds a great level of richness and density to other, lighter and thinner varietals. However, single variety Malbec wines have been greatly on the rise in recent years, with some fantastic results and big, juicy flavors marking them out as a great wine for matching with a wide range of foods.

Wine Spectator
A muscular, late-release red, with leather and spice notes up front joining a rich, unctuously textured core of fig, plum and cassis, while cedar shadings chime in. Offers just enough acidity to balance out the deep flavors, all while carrying the flavors through to the well-spiced finish. Drink now through 2033. 600 cases made, 550 cases imported.

James Suckling
Pretty bold on the nose even though it is rather conspicuous. Plenty of vanilla chocolate, hazelnuts and blackberries. Dense, full-bodied and juicy, with a heap of grainy tannins that need some polish and time to soften. Lots of extraction here. Try in 2025.

Decanter
Pungent nose of nutmeg, black pepper, baking spices and hints of perfume. Silky tannins, full body and long finish. (Silver) - DWWA 2023
Winery Notes
This elegant wine attracts the eye with its vivid color: a bright purplish red with blue tones. Abundant aromas start with plum, raspberry, strawberry, and quince underscored by hints of thyme, spearmint, mild peppermint, and field herbs such as jarilla. Aromas of sourdough, yeast, and mineral also come through, and the impact of wood is evident in appealing notes of chocolate and dulce de leche.
