Long-term Pre-arrival Items
Long Term Pre-arrival Definition: Ordering wine directly through us from our supplier partners in Europe in advance of the item’s physical arrival in the US.
Long Term Pre-arrival sales ensure you’re getting the best possible price and that you have also secured the product before it hits the normal retail supply chain. The lead time for Pre-arrival goods is generally 4–8 months, sometimes longer based on supply chain and the logistics of transporting goods overseas. The expectation, from our team, is to communicate to the customer the location of their purchase every step of the way.
This product is offered as a full case purchase option, minimum order quantities may be applicable. When available, multiple case options will be presented. If you are purchasing a Pre-Arrival item you must order a solid case.
Rapid Ship
Items listed as "rapid ship" are in stock and available for immediate pickup or shipment. Those that do not have the "rapid ship" icon are housed with our supplier and must be transferred to our warehouse before they can be picked up or shipped. This requires 4-6 business days but usually occurs sooner. Some products will list both options of availability as there will be a certain number in stock, with the option to order additional bottles to be transferred from the supplier.

The region is highly respected as an excellent producer of Chardonnay wines, and the Chardonnay grapes which grow there, on the southern slopes of the Cote d'Or, are packed full of the unique and powerful characteristics of this very special terroir. Interestingly, Cote De Beaune produces more red wine than white wine, despite its white wines being so famous. 89-92 A pungent nose of wood and reduction seems to be somewhat flat and dull. The rich, full-bodied and enveloping middle weight plus flavors possess a suave yet tautly muscular mouth feel as well as much better freshness, all wrapped in a mildly tangy finish that resembles that of the Clos des Chênes. I like the complexity as well as the solid size and weight but I doubt that this will be one of the great vintages for what is often an excellent wine.

A kernel of cherry shows at the center of this broad-shouldered red. Mineral and oak spice notes come to the fore, with a firm edge of grape and oak tannins lining the finish. Best from 2022 through 2033. 900 cases made, 50 cases imported.
Winery Notes
A very nice ruby/purple robe. Intense aromas of black cherry. Very rich in the mouth with delicate expression of dark berry fruits. The texture is pure and elegant, with very fine tannins and a beautiful structure. To be served at around 60–62°F with roasted meat, all games and all kind of cheeses.
