Long Term Pre-arrival Definition: Ordering wine directly through us from our supplier partners in Europe in advance of the item’s physical arrival in the US.
Long Term Pre-arrival sales ensure you’re getting the best possible price and that you have also secured the product before it hits the normal retail supply chain. The lead time for Pre-arrival goods is generally 4–8 months, sometimes longer based on supply chain and the logistics of transporting goods overseas. The expectation, from our team, is to communicate to the customer the location of their purchase every step of the way.
This product is offered as a full case purchase option, minimum order quantities may be applicable. When available, multiple case options will be presented. If you are purchasing a Pre-Arrival item you must order a solid case.
Rapid Ship
Items listed as "rapid ship" are in stock and available for immediate pickup or shipment. Those that do not have the "rapid ship" icon are housed with our supplier and must be transferred to our warehouse before they can be picked up or shipped. This requires 4-6 business days but usually occurs sooner. Some products will list both options of availability as there will be a certain number in stock, with the option to order additional bottles to be transferred from the supplier.

The beautifully and unforgettable French region of Cote De Beaune has been revered throughout the centuries, and recognized as one of the key producer's of the world's finest white wines. The region is highly respected as an excellent producer of Chardonnay wines, and the Chardonnay grapes which grow there, on the southern slopes of the Cote d'Or, are packed full of the unique and powerful characteristics of this very special terroir. An overtly floral nose reflects notes of rose petal, lavender, acacia and violet along with nuances of red and black fruit, earth and a whiff of forest floor. There is excellent intensity, size, weight and power to the attractively textured big-bodied flavors that brim with minerality on the caressing but punchy finale. This beautifully balanced effort is in the classic mold of this wine as it's very clearly built for the long haul and again, I would suggest not touching this wine for at least a decade and two decades would not be much of a surprise.

The 2019 Le Corton Grand Cru confirms its superb showing from barrel, blossoming in the glass with scents of wild berries, peonies, violets, blood orange and warm spices. Medium to full-bodied, sumptuous and enveloping, with melting tannins, beautiful purity of fruit and lively balancing acids, it's long and perfumed, concluding with a saline, rose-inflected finish. I have never tasted a Corton from Bouchard that was so good, so young.

From a 3.55ha parcel in Le Corton, at the top of the slope on thin soils, reducing the yield and making for a brilliantly fresh wine. The aromas begin with fragrant red fruit and spice, then a savoury mineral note at the end. On the palate, the wine is crisp, tannic and tightly wound. There is substance here, however, and with time it should open well. Drinking Window 2024 - 2034.

The 2019 Le Corton Grand Cru includes 30% whole cluster, which is quite evident – maybe too evident – on the nose at the moment. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, and quite pure and focused, offering dark berry fruit laced with cedar toward the structured and rather saturnine finish. Broody – it will require patience.
