90-92 The 2021 Bellevue is a tense, wiry Saint-Émilion that is going to need a few years to unwind, although it will always be on the nervous side for the appellation. Red/purplish fruit, lavender, sage, mint and spice open first, followed by a kick of bright acids that is a reminder of the growing season, as if that was needed. I am looking forward to tasting this from bottle.
