Quite deeply colored. Still relatively primary liqueur-like dark currant aromas include hints of spice, warm earth and a whiff of violet. The relatively dense, muscular and powerful broad-shouldered flavors possess solid punch before terminating in a youthfully austere, complex and impressively long finish where a trace of warmth slowly emerges. This borderline rustic effort exhibits fine development potential so be prepared to be patient.
