Long Term Pre-arrival Definition: Ordering wine directly through us from our supplier partners in Europe in advance of the item’s physical arrival in the US.
Long Term Pre-arrival sales ensure you’re getting the best possible price and that you have also secured the product before it hits the normal retail supply chain. The lead time for Pre-arrival goods is generally 4–8 months, sometimes longer based on supply chain and the logistics of transporting goods overseas. The expectation, from our team, is to communicate to the customer the location of their purchase every step of the way.
This product is offered as a full case purchase option, minimum order quantities may be applicable. When available, multiple case options will be presented. If you are purchasing a Pre-Arrival item you must order a solid case.
Rapid Ship
Items listed as "rapid ship" are in stock and available for immediate pickup or shipment. Those that do not have the "rapid ship" icon are housed with our supplier and must be transferred to our warehouse before they can be picked up or shipped. This requires 4-6 business days but usually occurs sooner. Some products will list both options of availability as there will be a certain number in stock, with the option to order additional bottles to be transferred from the supplier.

The 2014 Chevalier Montrachet Grand Cru has a complex, quite compelling bouquet: citrus peel, cold limestone/granite and pressed white flowers all vying for attention with superb intensity and detail. The palate is very composed with intense citrus lemon, lime and hints of passion fruit, gently unfolding in the mouth with a saline, edgy finish that just delivers…and some. What a fantastic grand cru. Chapeau!
Of all the white wine grape varietals, surely the one that has spread the furthest and is most widely appreciated is Chardonnay. This green-skinned grape is now grown all over the Old and New Worlds, from New Zealand to the Americas, from England to Chile, and is one of the first varietals people think of when considering white wine grapes. Equally discreet wood sets off the beautifully layered nose that blends together notes of citrus, wet stone, rose petal and subtle spice hints. There is excellent verve to the delineated and overtly muscular yet refined big-bodied flavors that possess an abundance of acid-buffering dry extract before terminating in a moderately austere and explicitly saline-infused finish that is like rolling rocks around in your mouth. This is very clearly built-to-age and is going to require at least 5 years to unwind and develop more depth. (Burghound)
Winery Notes
Rated 92+ - Pale yellow. Yellow fruits, ripe apple, white flowers, warm stones and mirabelle on the nose, complemented by toasty, spicy oak and a nutty nuance; the freshest and most complex of these 2013s. Plush and smooth on the palate, with flavors of menthol, white flowers and cinnamon building nicely toward the back and finishing with a hint of blond tobacco. Harmonious acidity gives the wine very good balance and a rising finish. - Vinous.
