The 2021 du Gazin, a blend of 75% Merlot and 25% Cabernet Franc, reveals a floral, fruity bouquet with aromas of iris, violet, dark wild berries and spices. Medium-bodied and tense, it’s perfectly balanced with a lively, calcareous mid-palate and a fresh, penetrating finish. Despite an austere character, it will offer a large drinking window over the next 8–10 years.
