#44 in Top 100 Wines of France, 2025. The wood toast is slightly prominent now, but it should integrate well in the next year or two. Sour cream, wet-stone minerality, limes, green gooseberries and sliced green apples. This is really textured and tense, with a full body and a lengthy finish that lingers for almost a minute. Drink from 2026.

The 2022 Château Malartic-Lagravière Blanc is tighter and more closed compared to the second wine, yet it has remarkable purity, precision, and length. Crushed citrus, melon rind, mint, and some floral notes all define the aromatics, and it's flawlessly balanced on the palate, with solid acidity, medium to full-bodied richness, and a mineral, salty character on the finish that keeps you coming back to the glass. Based on 76% Sauvignon and 24% Sémillon, it’s up with the top whites in the vintage.

While the vibrant herbal aroma suggests the dominance of Sauvignon Blanc, on the palate the wine is richer, fuller with layers of wood and spice balanced by white fruits and promising acidity. Produced by the Bonnie family, the wine will be ready to drink from 2027.

The palate is well balanced with a smooth texture, fine acidity, lightly spiced with white pepper and a touch of ginger that lingers on the finish. This is quite lovely. The Wine Independent

A blend of 76% Sauvignon Blanc and 24% Semillon, this presents a nose of delicately textured fruit, pressed apple and pear, with a little mint and white pebble freshness. This delicacy and vigour also comes across on the palate, which has a fine sense of freshness and definition, with veins of bitter but appealing phenolics and light acidity. A charming composition here, nicely gripped, showing the warmth of the vintage, but there is a little bite to it as well, especially in the length. Undoubtedly one of the stronger efforts in Pessac-Léognan, you should give this four or five years, I think it will hold up well. Tasted twice. The alcohol on the label is a surprising 14.5%, which fits with the profile and the ripe phenolics, but not the fresh and lively acidity.
