A strong effort from owner Jean-Hubert Delon, the 2008 Nenin is a blend of 81% Merlot and 19% Cabernet Franc cropped at 34 hectoliters per hectare. Sweet mulberry and black cherry fruit, earth, crushed rock, and spring flower characteristics are followed by a wine displaying a full-bodied texture, sweet tannin, and admirable purity. The grapes at this estate were harvested between September 29 and October 8.
