Composed of 83% Merlot, 13% Cabernet Sauvignon and 4% Cabernet Franc, the medium to deep garnet-purple colored 2018 Clarendelle leaps from the glass with expressive scents of ripe blackberries, raspberry preserves and mulberries with touches of menthol, smoked meats and fruitcake. The medium-bodied palate delivers plenty of juicy black and red fruit flavors with a lively backbone and soft tannins, finishing with a spicy kick.
