This is always a wine that, despite its inherent fruit briskness, is never released aromatically closed. In fact, the reserve wines, and the time on cork before release, give this NV Brut Reserve (2024 release) a welcoming, open-stanced aromatic profile of roasted apple and brown bread, helping to round out plenty of tangy and taut russet apple fruit. This 2024 release is a little more acidity-forward than some previous examples (although the base vintage is not known). It is integrated and harmonious, especially at entry level in England.
