The white 2023 Arriscado was produced with the traditional blend of white grapes from Rioja—Viura, Garnacha Blanca, Malvasía Riojana, Calagraño and Turruntés—from Finca El Llano, a vineyard planted in 1966, a north-facing plot at 500 meters above sea level with a high content of calcium carbonate. The clusters macerated for 72 hours, and the free-run juice fermented in French oak vats, where the wine matured with the lees for 14 months. It has a lot of freshness, with notes of fennel and aniseed, notes of white flowers and white fruit, developing hints of lemon curd with time in the glass. It has contained ripeness and a moderate 12.5% alcohol on the label. It's tasty and velvety, with focused flavors, great purity and delineation, elegant and balanced. 4,368 bottles produced. It was bottled in May 2025.

A blend of traditional Rioja varieties—Viura, Garnacha Blanca, Malvasía, Calagraño and Turruntés—from San Vicente de la Sonsierra, the 2023 Arriscado shows aromas of apple and herbs framed by oak, with nutty hints of hazelnut and dried orange peel. Medium in intensity, it is layered in nuance. On the palate, it is agile, offering bright freshness and a delicate chalky line. The finish is long and energetic, with a subtle Burgundian sensibility in its balance of texture, freshness and restraint.
