An attractively floral=suffused nose reveals notes of spice, apple and discreet wood influence. The palate impression of the bigger and richer middle weight flavors is also more powerful though not necessarily finer before terminating in a sappy, balanced and lingering finale where the only reproach is a touch of warmth. I would note that there is a mildly tannic character to the finish so a few
years of keeping should help to round that off.
