89-91 Opening in the glass with aromas of cassis, vine smoke, spices and cedar wood, the 2023 Gevrey-Chambertin Village is medium to full-bodied, seamless and lively, with powdery tannins and an earthy finish. As usual, this incorporates fruit from premiers crus Perrières and Etournelles Saint-Jacques.
