From a half-hectare in Amoureuses, fermented without punching down and with very little new oak, this is a wine where the youthful, vibrant red and black fruit comes to the fore, with notes of liquorice and a smoky depth. On the palate, the initial impression is the silky nature of the texture, but the tannin is not lacking and this should last for decades.
