92-94 The 2020 Nuits Saint-Georges Clos de l’Arlot 1er Cru has a really entrancing bouquet this year: pure red berry fruit, rose petal and light melted tar scents unfurling from the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with the stem addition noticeable on the entry, but simpatico with the fruit, hints of truffle and morels towards the finish. Good potential here – clever winemaking.
