86-88 The 2016 Chambolle-Musigny Village was reduced by 30% to 40% by the frost. As such, I feel it impacted upon the aromatics that feel a little enervated at this prenatal stage. The palate is nicely balanced with lithe tannin, nicely judged acidity, pretty dark cherry fruit but missing that coup de grace on the finish.
