Faiveley’s two parcels both face south, but the cool breezes that run through the Combe de Lavaux temper the sunshine in years like 2018. Typically fresh and aromatic, this has enticing raspberry coulis and red cherry flavours, textured tannins and some underlying salinity and minerality. The 50% new wood is finely integrated here.
