Long-term Pre-arrival Items
Long Term Pre-arrival Definition: Ordering wine directly through us from our supplier partners in Europe in advance of the item’s physical arrival in the US.
Long Term Pre-arrival sales ensure you’re getting the best possible price and that you have also secured the product before it hits the normal retail supply chain. The lead time for Pre-arrival goods is generally 4–8 months, sometimes longer based on supply chain and the logistics of transporting goods overseas. The expectation, from our team, is to communicate to the customer the location of their purchase every step of the way.
This product is offered as a full case purchase option, minimum order quantities may be applicable. When available, multiple case options will be presented. If you are purchasing a Pre-Arrival item you must order a solid case.
Rapid Ship
Items listed as "rapid ship" are in stock and available for immediate pickup or shipment. Those that do not have the "rapid ship" icon are housed with our supplier and must be transferred to our warehouse before they can be picked up or shipped. This requires 4-6 business days but usually occurs sooner. Some products will list both options of availability as there will be a certain number in stock, with the option to order additional bottles to be transferred from the supplier.

The beautifully and unforgettable French region of Cote De Beaune has been revered throughout the centuries, and recognized as one of the key producer's of the world's finest white wines. The region is highly respected as an excellent producer of Chardonnay wines, and the Chardonnay grapes which grow there, on the southern slopes of the Cote d'Or, are packed full of the unique and powerful characteristics of this very special terroir. Interestingly, Cote De Beaune produces more red wine than white wine, despite its white wines being so famous. Good full, deep red. Alluring scents of redcurrant, minerals, smoke, tobacco and menthol complemented by complex earth tones. Deep, broad, sappy and quite dry if closed in the early going. Rich, savory, sophisticated wine with lovely balance and finesse. Finishes with serious but fine-grained tannins. This brooding, soil-driven wine is not at all hard or austere but it's not particularly sweet or easy either. It should age very well.

A restrained and cool nose features notes of both red and black pinot fruit with hints of herbal tea, spice and wet stone. The delicious and energetic middle weight flavors possess plenty of minerality and solid mid-palate density before culminating on the lingering finish that also displays a trace of dryness. Even so among the three wines from the Côte de Beaune in the range this displays the least amount of dryness. I would describe this as a success for the vintage. (Burghound)
Winery Notes
Deep ruby red hue. The nose and palate are in perfect harmony and reveal aromas of black fruits, oak and spice. The attack is powerful and underpinned by direct, velvety tannins. This wine offers good structure and aromatic persistency.
Serve with: Game stew, shoulder of lamb, duck confit, mature cheeses.
