The 2024 Sancerre Sur le Fort is ripe and shows a touch of liveliness, but that may have more to do with it being bottled just two weeks before my tasting. This feels gentle and uncomplicated, with some tropical and white stone fruit. Malo has lent the 2024 a subtle creaminess. This is ready from the off.

Winery Notes

Exotic nose with notes of mango, honey and spices. Ample, almost mellow, mouthfeel, balanced on the edge by a slight sparkle of acidity which brings peps to the whole. Spicy yet smooth finish.
