Long-term Pre-arrival Items
Long Term Pre-arrival Definition: Ordering wine directly through us from our supplier partners in Europe in advance of the item’s physical arrival in the US.
Long Term Pre-arrival sales ensure you’re getting the best possible price and that you have also secured the product before it hits the normal retail supply chain. The lead time for Pre-arrival goods is generally 4–8 months, sometimes longer based on supply chain and the logistics of transporting goods overseas. The expectation, from our team, is to communicate to the customer the location of their purchase every step of the way.
This product is offered as a full case purchase option, minimum order quantities may be applicable. When available, multiple case options will be presented. If you are purchasing a Pre-Arrival item you must order a solid case.
Rapid Ship
Items listed as "rapid ship" are in stock and available for immediate pickup or shipment. Those that do not have the "rapid ship" icon are housed with our supplier and must be transferred to our warehouse before they can be picked up or shipped. This requires 4-6 business days but usually occurs sooner. Some products will list both options of availability as there will be a certain number in stock, with the option to order additional bottles to be transferred from the supplier.

Perhaps more charming in the early going than the Pucelles owing to its creamy depth. Fresh flavors of lemon, lime and peach carry impressively on the extract-rich finish. The acidity here is also around 5 grams per liter.
Of all the white wine grape varietals, surely the one that has spread the furthest and is most widely appreciated is Chardonnay. The region is highly respected as an excellent producer of Chardonnay wines, and the Chardonnay grapes which grow there, on the southern slopes of the Cote d'Or, are packed full of the unique and powerful characteristics of this very special terroir. Interestingly, Cote De Beaune produces more red wine than white wine, despite its white wines being so famous. This is sufficiently reduced that it presently masks the fruit and if you're tempted to try a bottle in its youth I would strongly advise decanting it first. Otherwise there is outstanding density to the focused and powerful middle weight plus flavors that stain the palate with dry extract that also helps to buffer the intensely mineral-driven finale that just goes on for minutes. This is flat out brilliant though note that it will not be an early drinker. In sum, this is a genuine 'wow' wine.

The 2014 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Clos de la Mouchère has a taut and linear, but intense bouquet with attractive apple blossom, flint and orange zest aromas that open with a sense of confidence in the glass. The palate is well balanced with quite a piercing citric entry. There is very good weight in the mouth here, feisty and spicy with a dab of fresh ginger perking up the finish. Give this a couple of years and you should have a fine Puligny-Montrachet.

Nose: Very elegant light reduction – white blossom – acacia – honeysuckle – mandarine peel – pink grapefruit.
Palate: Rich – bold – dense. Good energy, very complex. Fine purity. Slightly salty finish. Smooth – precise – pure – very classy.
